My re-training has included undertaking and completing the Microsoft Certified Professional certification as well as the Comptia A+ certification.
Coupled with my previous retail experience and the knowledge I gained about customer service I look forward to the challenges and opportunities that a new career in help desk will bring. I wish to apply for the position of Help Desk Operator as advertised on jobserve.com. I have recently completed the IT-Pathways video training and am enthusiastically awaiting to utilize my skills in a position such as this one.
In addition to the aforementioned IT industry training, I have completed an Diploma in Information Technology. The course was rich in content that was particularly relevant to a help desk career. This content included six months of training on Operating Systems and six months of training on Networking Technologies.
I understand that a help desk role requires a high level of communication skills which is ideal because I consider communication a personal strength. This claim was validated by high grades in English during high school, and continued high grades throughout my Diploma in report writing tasks.
I look forward to the challenges and opportunities presented by this position.
