Apart from the confidence that comes from preparation and planning, interview experience can also set you apart by helping you to appear more confident. But sometimes we don't prepare, and sometimes nerves get the better of us and all we are left with at the end of the day is a good story...

Interview horror stories can happen to the best of us. Sometimes it is circumstance and poor timing, sometimes it is pure bad management and sometimes it is unbelievably bad luck! The point is that we are all human, we mke mistakes and sometimes we react in a manner that is out of character.

It is a shame that (most) our authors did not manage to secure the job. Fortunately for us we did get a good story out of the experience and I am sure that the authors are all the stronger for the experience. Interview horror stories do holdsome educational value (and they are pretty funny) and that is why we print them. How would you react in these situations?
