Conduct and report audit findings making recommendations for improving process, ensuring compliance, improving operations, reducing costs and mitigating risk.

Tasks and Activities
- Apply techniques such as COSO/COBIT for operational auditing
- Prepare and review audit planning documents, procedures and final reports
- Liaise with clients for the purpose of analyzing problems, workflows, responsibilities and procedures
- Develop and present the IT audit plan
- Identify and report compliance breaches
- Liaise and assist external auditors as required
- Perform regular follow-up audits on non-compliant or high risk breaches.
- Write and present findings to senior management
- Work cooperatively with department managers to implement report recommendations

Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- Working knowledge of infrastructure, application/web development and/or security
- Knowledge of internal control concepts (COSO and/or COBIT)
- Demonstrated experience conducting audits
- Excellent report writing and business writing skills
- Working knowledge of infrastructure security concepts (Windows Server 2003 and 2008, UNIX, VMware, Mainframe, LANs, WANs, Firewalls, Routers, Sybase, Oracle, SQL, and SharePoint)
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex problems clearly
Organizational Position
This position will likely report to the Director of Internal Audit or equivalent role. The majority of the time will be spent liaising with the customer or documenting findings.
Qualifications & Certifications
The following credentials may be requested/preferred.
(CPA) as granted by the AICPA
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) as granted by the IIA
Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) as granted by the ACFE
Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) as granted by the ISACA
Certified Public Accountant
Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
Bachelors degree in MIS (Management Information Systems)
