Job Description

Responsible for supporting management and leadership in regulatory and audit compliance and risk mitigation. Develop and maintain processes that idetify and mitigate delivery risks.

Tasks and Activities

  • Perform internal and external audits
  • Develop and implement Information Technology compliance and risk management initiatives
  • Development and management of compliance policies and procedures
  • Analyze and mitigate fraud risk
  • Develop and enhance risk and compliance management workflows
  • Design, document, test and remediate business process and controls
  • Prepare strategic reports and other governance based deliverables
  • Produce technical analysis and findings in connection with advisory and assessment engagements
  • Present and communicate audit results to management
  • Set up monitoring structures
  • Produce audit templates and checklists
  • Review existing process producing enhancement recommendations
  • Create gap analysis
  • Develop and write policies
  • Train delivery teams and managers in the execution and documentation of defined processes


Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Understanding or experience with regulatory standards including PCI, HIPAA, Sarbanes-Oxley
  • Understanding of privacy regulation
  • Working knowledge of network, system, database and application-level security.
  • Internet fraud knowledge
  • Practical working knowledge of systems architectures, networking concepts and data management


Organizational Position

This position will likely report to a Director or General Manager and spend a significant portion of time meeting with clients, project delivery staff, vendors, operational teams or management.


Qualifications & Certifications

A Degree such as Bachelor of Information Technology, Bachelor of Business or an MBA may be preferred.
