Job Description
The IT Recruiter is responsible for advertising and filling IT related job vacancies. They will often work as part of a specialist IT recruitment company or be part of a larger broad based recruiting company where they have responsibility for their IT vacancies. Occasionally it will be part of the HR function within a larger organization that specialises in IT work.

- Communicate with vacancy holders to determine IT role requirements.
- Develop content of IT related job advertisements.
- Contact potential applicants.
- Arrange suitable advertising or communications of vacancies.
- Schedule and prepare for interviews.
- Preparing assessments of technical capability, including test and capability exercises.
- Validating technical knowledge of applicants against vacancy criteria.
- Conduct interviews and explore technical skills and abilities with potential candidates

Organizational Position
This may be a first or second level position depending upon the organisation they work within. They will normally be managed by a recruitment manager or the HR Director of a larger company.
Qualifications & Certifications
Bachelors or higher qualification, preferably in a technology related field.
HR certifications would be an advantage.
