Organizational Position
Reporting to the Sales Manager this position generally works independently calling upon company resources such as pre-sales architects when required to meet and discuss solutions with clients. A significant proportion of time is dedicated to building client relationships.

Cisco Systems, for example, offers a number of sales specialist certifications on various product ranges. Other vendors such as microsoft include Licensing Training in certifications such as the MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional).
